First Time Here?

Last week we presented you guys with one crazy deal- two FREE tickets to the New American Music Union’s Summer Tour, a.k.a. the only chance you’ll get this summer to see Bob Dylan, The Raconteurs, The Roots, and Spoon- not to mention plenty of other up and comers! We wanted to hear what you’d wear to the two-day extravaganza if you won, and while your comments were filled with a ton of truly rockin’ outfits, only one could be called the best, and so without further adieu, the lucky winner is..

Merrily! She wrote, “To me, dressing up is part of the fun experience of going to an amazing rock concert like this, I get the chance to wear something special that I wouldn’t everyday.  I’m thinking a navy-blue, sheer, sleeveless blouse (with cami underneath), a favorite pair of blue skinny jeans and some comfortable black flats would be nice.  For an edgy look, I would pair this with some THIN suspenders- worn backwards (I know this sounds weird, but when worn with the right thing it can really make the outfit elegant, and the criss-crossing backwards straps are much more flattering on a woman’s body). I’d finish the look with fire - engine red lips, and a dark brown hobo bag, and a pretty white bracelet.”
