Hot Interview: Zac Posen

Designer Zac Posen took the stage on April 26 in front of hundreds of adoring fans as the featured speaker for the Academy of Art University’s Fashion Week in San Francisco.

Stylehive was there for an exclusive interview with the charismatic designer and got the inside scoop on Zac’s widely rumored new blog project! Zac told us why he is fascinated with the idea of a blog. He said, “Talking to my customers and interacting with them and creating a forum for people to express their experience wearing our clothes.” He also mentioned that “If you could get emotion through the Internet that’s the big challenge.”

thank you so much for featuring Zac Posen on this site - he is a revolutionary designer with a great future ahead of him - I envision for his blog a sort of way to connect with his customers and fan base.  I would hope he would address how he goes about actually designing a piece; what inspires him; what materials he might be using; how long it actually takes him to finish a piece; if he is affected by fashion trends; and “inside a designer’s mind” would be a nice touch.  I would also love if he would give us an idea as to future design collections!!!

Arriel, fantastic ideas on items Zac might blog about. Yes, his ideas and creative process that go into a collection would be amazing!

Zac, i’d like to know also some non fashioned informations such as who is your favourite contemporary artist, if you have any, which art gallery is your favourite and if you cooperate with any artists and, becouse of I am artist (painter) how is possible to work wit you.
