While he played coy last month when Stylehive asked about his love life at the Reebok SS'08 Preview, Chace Crawford may be hinting at some residual affection for a certain American Idol. The Gossip Girl hottie was one of many celebs spotted backstage at the Jingle Ball Gift Lounge last Friday, and although he was accompanied by his handlers rather than on again off again flame, Carrie Underwood, it seemed clear that the country crooner was still on his mind!

After picking out of Fashionation's Star Speakers for his on-set dressing room, reps for the brand asked if he wanted anything for "his girlfriend." (i.e. Carrie), which lead Chace to reach for the pink speakers and a purple iPod Nano case.

The star also took a liking to the black iPod Nano case which featuers a visor to conceal what you're listening to, which our source deemed perfect for times when he's "listening to Carrie's music and doesn't want anyone to know about it!"
