Web Crawl: Olsens To Design A Jewelry Line With Robert Lee Morris

Big things come in small packages - an adage that can surely be applied to the Olsens. The tiny twins, who were at one time known for their oh-so collectible TV movies (The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley, anyone?) have really made a name for themselves with their two upscale collections, The Row and Elizabeth and James, and now WWD is reporting a jewelry line is in the works. Apparently they've signed on to work with CFDA award-winning designer and sculptor Robert Lee Morris to create a line of expectedly edgy pieces, to be sold under the E&J label. Looks like achieving Mary-Kate's piled-on look will soon be easier than ever, and we're excited to see what else they have in store. Want more on the latest from the diminutive duo? Style Slides: The Olsen Twins' Elizabeth and James Line Is on Shopbop!

The mega-stylish mini moguls' high-end apparel line Elizabeth and James is now available to the online masses! With E&J, the Olsens blend androgynous staples with feminine fabrics, modern shapes, and vintage details for a collection that falls somewhere between a contemporary line and something you'd expect from a premier designer, yet is priced in the contemporary range. The fact that each piece looks a little like something they'd actually wear and a lot like something we'd love to wear really shows their keen eye for pushing the design envelope while remaining practical, and reinforces the idea that this is definitely not your typical actress-turned-designer label. In other words, we likee. Click SEE SLIDESHOW to see if you do, too.
