Elle Accessores: Waist Watchers

The most recent issue of Elle Accessories showcases fall's top accessory trends, and "Waist Watchers," a selection of bold belts that you won't find just anywhere, is definitely one to watch. These aren't your ordinary belts- they're oozing with hardware and embellishments and will take your look from dull to daring in a flash. You can cinch them at the natural waist for a polished, feminine hourglass silhouette or sling them low on the hips for a cool, casual vibe. And belts show no signs of disappearing anytime soon, so it's a good idea to invest in one or two that will update your wardrobe and brighten your day. Why not buckle up one of Elle's head-turning picks instead of that old basic you've worn a million times? Don't miss page 151 of the mag for some eye-catching finds, check out our slideshow for even more, and conquer the holiday season with some brave new belts!

Bag of the Week: Tarah Smith's "The Yuppie" Handbag

I pride myself on being the handbag loop and knowing what/who is hot long before it hits the masses. In fact, designers often come to me for press writeups or a friendly tidbit before they reveal their goods to the editors at LUCKY, InStyle, etc. So, my bag-a-licious taste buds always perk up when I find something that's already out there. Designer Tarah Smith is a former model and founder of an earlier bag line called SMAK. She's also created handbag for Oscar gift bags. FYI I googled all of that because I had no clue who she was or what SMAK bags even looked like. Looking now at her new fall offering, I'm not only excited by the classy shapes and detailing (love the lanyard-esque handles and the buckles), I'm also flipping for the prices. Can you believe in today's word you can get this bag for under $400? Trust me when I say that it's not any easy task to find a bag at this price. If you own this bag or other Tarah Smith styles, I'd love to know what you think.

A fantastical mixture of neon, metallics, and some very unique runway looks, Juicygal makes what most wouldn't even dream of wearing during the light of day, amazingly everyday-friendly. This Stylediarist is an obvious color (and Karen Walker) lover and is a hardcore print mixer. She has fun with larger-than-life plaid bows, brightly colored tights, even brighter flats and wedges, plus accessories galore! She borrows looks and pieces inspired by many different eras, especially from the 80's, and makes them uniquely her own. If you are looking for some fun ways to really wear color, you won't be disappointed.
