The TOMS Wrap Boot: Love 'Em, Or Lose 'Em?

I wear my TOMS slip ons all the time. They're perfect for lounging around the house or for a quick jaunt to the corner store. I have to admit the canvas is starting to wear a little thin for the fall and winter and my toes are getting cold! Guess they thought the same thing, since they just launched a new boot for fall called the "Wrap Boot." The boots have an elastic wrap that extends from the ankle up to your knee and closes with a Velcro closure. TOMS offers instructions and inspiration on how to wrap the boot (if you can really call it that) on their website. While I appreciate TOMS' commitment to helping children in need by giving them a pair of shoes for every pair I buy, have they gone a bit off in the deep end with the sports injury-inspired boot?

Style Poll: Which Swing Will You Swing On This Spring?

Spring hit New York City today. It is 60 degrees out. Daffodil buds are poking through the trash strewn curbside gardens. Little gray squirrels are chasing each other from lamppost to razor wire. Pigeons are cooing and ruffling their feathers as they dodge pedestrians and cabs. Rats are tending to their shedding fur in vacant lots. All that is missing from the idyllic fairy tale setting is a sweet little swing. I think I could charge $50/half hour for a ride on any of these. I could just hang it from the fire escape. KaCHING!

Boy Fight! Who Looks the Hottest, Adrian or Jason?

I know how hard Adrian Grenier worked for that beard. Last month I made it to 15 days without shaving and basically couldn't sleep because the hairs, at about an inch long, were stabbing into my cheeks like a million needles when I lay my head on my pillow. One more week of pain, and I would have been on my way to a full Adrian. Now, having hacked it off with a Mach 3, I am about to instead get my hair dyed and spiked, more along the lines of Jason Lewis.
