Get Sultry and Sassy This Halloween With Katy Perry's Look!

First singer-songwriter Katy Perry made waves in the music industry in her debut album with her tongue-in-cheek lyrics. These days, she's a fashion it-girl with designers such as Betsey Johnson and the house of Chanel clamoring to dress her. That's why Katy's distinctive 1940s retro look makes a perfect costume for Halloween! Katy likes to stick to body-hugging silhouettes with sweetheart necklines and high-waisted bottoms along with show-stopping hair accessories to pull her sexy yet innocent look together. To get you started, take a peek at this ruffly top and these saucy zebra print shoes. For a Katy Perry-worthy face, stick to shimmery (but not glittery!) eye makeup and dramatic red lips. And don't forget to come up with some sassy lyrics of your own! Click SLIDESHOW to see how you can dress up as Katy this Halloween.

Portland, Oregon has both travel critics and serious shopaholics abuzz. The rapidly growing Pacific Northwest hot spot is overflowing with fair-trade coffee houses, quirky boutiques, a bustling local scene, and an eco-friendly lightrail to help you see it all. Travel & Leisure even rated Portland as one of America's Favorite Cities this year, praising its cleanliness, safety, and environmental awareness. The Jupiter Hotel, located in the heart of Portland's Downtown, epitomizes the city's free-spirited attitude with a 1960's retro meets cabin-in-the-woods style decor with a rock n' roll edge. That's right, this hip boutique hotel's own courtyard turns into nightclub come sun down - red carpet included! After adventurous days exploring the city, grab some grub at the Jupiter's on-site restaurant, the Doug Fir Lounge - it's known for its buffalo burgers, omelets, and staying open "until way past your bedtime." Best of all, this trendy new hotel rocks a very budget-friendly pricetag. So whether you come for the chalkboard doors or because Conde Nast Traveler branded it "one of the best new hotels in the world," next time that you gotta getaway consider Portland, Oregon and the Jupiter Hotel. StyleDiary Spotlight: Amethyst Dazzles In Romantic Dresses

Meet Australian Stylediarist Amethyst. Although her style mantra happens to be "quality over quantity, her StyleDiary sure offers up an impressive number of innovative and romantic looks. I'm already inspired by her variety of shorter style dresses, skirts, shorts - and especially seeing how she wears them during the different seasons. Amethyst favors a classic yet timeless color palette of mostly blues, greys, creams, and black, but she isn't afraid to add subtle pops of color from items like grape-colored tights or a knit red beret. But fabulous sense of style aside, Amethyst's StyleDiary is worthy of a visit simply due to her collection of envy-inducing fashion finds. I'm already pining over more than a few items straight out of her personal wardrobe! Like this shrunken coat with beautiful ruffle detailing and this irresistibly chic ivory cape. So see Amethyst's StyleDiary for yourself, or click on the slideshow to see my favorite looks straight from her page.

The collection comes in three styles: Spot-Teese features a casino chip motif in nude with a sexy, sheer black tulle overlay. Multi-Teese has straps be arranged in a number of different ways and magnetic closures for (ahem) quick release, and Satine-Teese mixes vintage styling with Wonderbra know-how.
